MEET BILL MASTERS

Bill is an American engineer, inventor, manufacturing entrepreneur, business advisor and mentor. His perspective combines humble roots, counter-cultural sensibilities and innovative approach to engineering and manufacturing. He is widely known as the father of modern kayaking and creating one of the largest kayak manufacturers in the US. He also became the father of 3D printing in July of 1984 when Bill filed the first 3D printing patent with the USPTO, the Computer Automated Manufacturing Process and System patent

Today, Bill holds over 50 patents and continues to refine and develop ideas, particularly in manufacturing and thermal transfer, but spends most of his time serving as a director, advisor and mentor.
